Adrian Oregon

Well, after a busy week we have finally moved in to our house in Adrian, Oregon. We're about 30 minutes from my grandparents house and about 40 from Sam's school. Which by the way Sam is really enjoying. I am putting a whole bunch of pictures of where we live and such. The HUGE white house and the pristine yard is Grandma and grandpas house. Sam even let me take pictures of him in all his gear! By the way the town we are living in is so rural that I have hardly any cell service. But Sam has more than me! So if any of you need to get ahold of me go ahead and call me on Sam's phone! I am also posting some pictures of some wood posts... in the summer time they grow hopps for beer. The yellow field is a pickle field! A lot of farmers grow dill in Adrian. The house we are living in is the trailor looking house and all the green farm fields surround us. We can't even see into our neighbors house we are so far apart! There is also a picture of the snake river which separates Oregon from Idaho. Its pretty much right across the road from us! We attended our ward today for the first time and they were all pretty nice. It was funny to hear people refer to their tractors in sunday school as God's way of teaching them things. I think thats when we realized we would fit in just great here! After we got home from church a younger guy came and invited us to the "community dutch oven night" on Friday nights. I guess all the farmers from Adrian get together every friday night for some good times! Ha, ha, yep we're gonna like it here!

News!

So, there is ALOT of exciting and scary things going on in our lives right now, some of which is too painful to even repeat so I will spare you all the tears. I am just finishing up my last exams for finals and I will be headed up to Idaho to meet up with Sam. We are still planning on living in Adrian, Oregon. Although some tragic news there, Ruthy (the lady I was going to be paid to take care) passed on today, so I no longer have a job. My old roomie though is coming up this weekend to help me find a job with a local farmer. So I am feeling blessed and relieved and everything will be fine. We still get to live in the house and we are paying no rent, and wrangler can live there with us so its going to work out. We are at least going to try it for a month and see if its worth it to us. I must say its going to be GREAT having our own place, on a farm, in a town with the population of 140 people! We will make it 142! It will be SO amazing to train for my marathons around all the farming ground. And it'll be GREAT to experience a new place. As you might all have guessed, I'm really trying to be positive about all the turn of events which have happened in less than 24 hours. You could say I've been a WEE BIT stressed! :) But hey, thats what happens when you become adult like and all that crap! Anyway, I will be posting LOTS of pictures of Sam's school and the strawberry farm we will be living on! Love you all!

Family Wedding Pictures

We had a great Easter! We surprised our families by coming home unexpectedly and it was so much fun! We were happy to be able to spend time with all of you! Now that we're back up in Logan reality has kind of sunk in, at least for me. We've been packing and putting stuff in our storage unit and CLEANING like mad to get our apartment ready to move out! We will probably be moving out in a few weeks then spending almost a week in H-Town before Sam has to go to school. My classes are FINALLY coming to an end, and our fun-filled life in Logan is too! WOO HOO!! Off to new and more adventurous times! (yes, I count living with Grandma and Grandpa as adventurous!) Other than this, not much has been happening with us! We will hopefully post some new pictures and what not soonish! Love to you all and I hope you are all having an amazing April!

My Thoughts!

Ha ha because Brandi pointed out that I didn't actually write anything yesterday when I posted... nothing is new with us! Absolutely nothing! We work, clean the yard, and go to school! Its ridiculous! ha ha we are officially LAME. No lie, I was in bed and asleep at 7 last night!!! We aren't able to make it home for Easter because Sam has to work this weekend, so I will be home alone on Saturday and Sunday listening to conference. We are planning a trip to Boise on Monday to meet with Sam's adviser for school and hopefully we will be all straightened out and ready to go! I am currently on a very strict diet that makes me want to cry my eye balls out every day, and I am trying to train for the Hurricane Half Marathon when I'm feeling strong enough to actually run. But I am signed up for it and I will run it even if I am not feeling ready enough. School is going..... that's about all I have to say about school these days! Other than this... nothing is new!! We will be home for almost a week starting the 22nd of April and this will be our last visit for the entire summer probably until August!! So I hope to see everyone!!

Winter Fun!

This is just one of the many many night Sam and I spent watching TV with the dog, neither of them liked their pictures taken too much! The other picture is when it snowed SO much in one night! We woke up to my car completely hidden beneath snow!


Ok... so the boots story: Well, it started out that I was going to take Sam to go shopping for his birthday. There is this HUGE western store called Smith and Edwards that is our favorite now! So I figured he could just go spend his birthday money on something he will like, after weeks of asking him what he wanted he just would not give me any ideas and he's so picky anyway I figured this way is the best! So we head on down there this friday and spend two hours in that store. Let me first say we got a pretty dang good tax return this year... so this is how I justified spending money on boots... :/ Anywho, Sam was trying on boots galour and I was walkin around tryin to find him a nice pair and I walked right past these amazing Tony Lama purple 16" high topped boot and I just HAD TO HAVE THEM!!! So long story short.. we both bought boots for Sam's birthday. I know it was VERY selfish of me to do that! But... we got our tax return?! he he he

Hardware Ranch

So, today we decided that we would be cool and do something new and adventurous.... Ok, I decided we would be cool and adventurous. Therefore, I drug Sam and my good friend DustiAnn 25 miles away from Logan to visit what is known as Hardware Ranch. They house about 370 elk there and you take a sleigh ride up to see them all. It was very fun!
